School Daze

Here we go again, another year. This year we have a 7th grader, 5th grader, 2nd grader and the 'lil kindergartener Boston is home with me for one more year . It is off to a fast and great start I know because I am so tired!! Reagan has to be at school now at 8am, sooo that gets all of us up so she can be early!! So far so good though. She is cheering and playing volleyball (both new activities this year). Our Christian School is just adding sports and activities all the time and we have fun being involved. Baylor is playing tackle football for the first time this year and except for the heat at practice seems to enjoy it. Bishop is playing flag football this year and was sought after by all the dads in 2nd grade due to his size! Barron and Boston do well to keep up while being drug around in the van to all the kids' activities. I think they like it because all the older kids are always around them. Scott and I do well to keep the calendar together so we know where we are going or supposed to be going.
Busy is relative thing. Isn't this supposed to be our life right now? I know that God doesn't want us to miss His time or His plan while we are driving carpool. But I don't think God wants me to sit at home and wish that we had shown His love to more kids through our activities. I have never looked back on my past and wished I'd not done so much, quite the opposite. So I guess we are going to keep on!!

Kids

The other day we drove by a windmill in Norman. My 9 year old son remarked how windmills make bread??? I asked him how, he didn't know. It was so funny he usually doesn't say much but was on the way to his bff house and was just a jabberbox!!! Then yesterday he told us all how George Clooney was on the dime (what?) now I am thinking why do I pay for the private school again?? Then I told him George Clooney was an actor and he said, I know! (It just keeps getting better) He said wait is this going to be like the windmill thing?? I replied, Oh yes it is!!! Kids are always good for a laugh and I love it! What the day holds we never know but we always have many many laughs from them!!

Changes

This time of year always reminds me of change. The weather and school all of it I LOVE it!! God is so good to bring good change in to my life. My youngest child is now 2 and proving to be semi-self sufficient (yea!!!) so I am finally feeling free of the stroller that has been my constant companion for 11years (OMG!!). This change I am loving. Hope everyone experiences positive change with this fall season.
